Ravenswood: amazing leather pirate coats

Ravenswood leather is a wonderful site that features all sorts of costumes made of leather. Prices can look a bit high at the first sight, but we're talking about really fine quality. They also feature a section to teach you how to take care of the pieces you buy in the store. But it doesn't only feature the most amazing pirate (also ren and futuristic looking)  coats for men (and women too) I've seen so far, there you can find all sorts of accesories from belts, to gauntlets, bracers and pirate hats to become a real pirate. They feature the pieces in several colors from plain and classic black to several shades of brown, green and even white.

Pendragon shoes... delightful weird magical footwear!

Pendragon shoes is one of the most amazing and strange shoe  exclusive handcrafted leather shoes. This company is a Queensland based duo of designer shoemakers Jacqueline Orme Ward and Adrian Lockwood that have worked for several projects in theater and cinema including the recent and successful film "Peter Pan" by Warner Bros (that by the way is a wonderful version with a pretty soundtrack from James Newton Howard to go along with)

Falconrose: leather mask of the Renaissance and the Faery

Falconrose is a delightful collection of leather hand crafted masks, the site and the style of the masks themselves reminds us of ancient times and mediaeval tapestries...  The site is not only worth because of the wonderful masks they make, but also becuase of the throrough description of the creatures that makes it interesting enough even if just only for reading about the myths and legends that inspired them.

Goblin Road: Leather dryad corsets for forest dwellers!

Isn't it an amazing corset? for fairies or dryads? Goblin Road make wearable and made to measure leather corsets to guarantee a perfect fit and they're the "must-have" for a forest nymph garment. The model shown above is called "wood elemental" and also air and fire elemental models are available on the site. I feel tempted to order thos model precisely as I love the cut and that "made of plants" look. The back of the corset is grommetted and cinches with a leather cord.

Medieval moccasins and ghillies for Highlanders, irish goblins and fairies

We´ve all seen drawings in old books of Irish fairy tales with those fancy to dance all night away with goblins and fairies... Ghillies are typical soft  leather shoes for irish and scottish dancing in fact and have a lovely ancient traditional historical look For an accurate definition read this wikipedia article about them (yes I know this term is also used for some camouflage material as we´ll cover in the future). Surfing the net I found the perfect site for them...
