Magic dates are approaching and for UK residents you have the amazing chance to visit Glastonbury in the heart of Avalon for the Samhain/Halloween Faery weekend on the 29th and 30th October.The Avalon Faery Fayre is a FREE event which takes place on the Samhain/Halloween weekend of the 29th and 30th October at Glastonbury Town Hall. Doors open from 10.30am until 5pm on Saturday and from 11am until 5pm on Sunday! entry is FREE! All events during the weekend are sponsored by FAE Magazine

Faerieworlds Winter Celebration returns to the McDonald Theater on January 29, 2011 for The Neverworlds Masquerade Ball and the theme "Faeries vs. Pirates!" With performances of Woodland, Manoverboard and guitarrist Scott Huckabay and hosted by Billy Scudder as the Green Man and Mark Lewis as the pirate rapscallion, Dirty Jack. Dragon con is a one of the largest multi-media, popular culture convention focusing on science fiction and fantasy, gaming, comics, literature, art, music, and film in the world. Last edition just took place a couple of weeks ago in Georgia and there you can see the most amazing fantasy costumes and garments to get inspired...!! All genres, cross overs, super heroes, star wards, fantasy... I found this video in youtube with 75 costumes you could have seen there... and it's extremely inspiring for next halloween ideas, not to say it's very funny to watch too!

Celebrating Summer celebration Faerieworlds is one of the biggest and more well known faery gathering events in the United States. Being held in a natural environment of Eugene, Oregon, it has a tribal and almost hippy feeling into it. Featuring a selection of bands and concerts (unfortunately i'm not attending myself as performer or artist this year but I highly recommend it), illustrators, artists and all sorts of vendors as well as a great participation of public all dressed up in their best fantasy garments... Another good event so you can showcase your best looks! Have fun and join your hands in a spiral dance with a wealth of fantasy lovers!
