We are proud to announce that latest issue of FAE MAGAZINE (british publication devoted to fantasy and the fairy world (including fashion) has published an exclusive photoshoot where I have modeled for the spanish designer and costume maker El Costurero Real.
I'm wearing a lovely and exclusive for the shoot "moth dress" made by Alassie (El Costurero Real previously covered in yfc in this article) and fellow artist Lady Morte is wearing also another garment from El Costurero´s collection.
Summer is getting close, fairies are starting to wear lighter gowns and robes of layered silk... and getting some tanned shoulders and fluttering the raindrops off their fairy wings... So here is one excuse to get your summer fairy garments and enjoy the first Urban Faery Ball held in London, where I'll be performing myself along with american band Woodland (releasing their new album Seasons in Elfland where I also collaborate). I'll also include some of my upcoming album themes in the performance. So if you happen to be in UK 25th of June, only a few days after another festival we're attending taking place also in UK (Cornwall) the 3 faery wishes festival.

Another entry regarding an interesting event where you can attend and showcase your fantasy costume. Celebrating every year in Philadelphia, Faeriecon is a macroconvention devoted to fantasy and fairy worlds where you'll find hundreds of booths selling garments, masks, and also conferences, movies and entertainment. And also fantasy illustrators and guest artists like Brian Froud (The Dark Crystal, Into the labyrinth) and Alan Lee (The Lord of the rings), faeriec costume contests and much more!!!. I'll be myself opening the good and bad faery ball this year (the balls take place in Trocadero Theatre Friday 10th and 11th October.
Enchanted costumes is an american company that is well known for making the finest fairy wings. They have a great selection of fairy wings on their web. Each one is meticulously hand crafted for your special event, whether it be your wedding, photography studio, or a costume ball.
Made with beautifully sheer iridescent and crystal organza in a wide variety of colors.
Ribbon covered wire frame, that can be easily adjusted for different looks.
Satin stitched veins to match or contrast in the highest quality industrial embroidery thread available.
Fully customizable in organza colours, we're talking about durable wings. They're not particularly cheap, but they worth every cent. You'll be able to fold them up for travel, have your wings intact even after the crowdiest party.... show them off! they're safe and well made, and you won't regret to have a pair! (or two, or three). Enchanted costumes offer cheaper wings made of cellophane, that we previously talked about in another previous article....But let's face it, the expensive brand, made of organza and with embroidered veins are simply the most outstanding and lovely fairy wings you can find out there. I am a professional performer and also visual artist and designer and I chose Enchanted costumes to manufacture the custom designs that I use in my shows. In fact she sells the "Ancient Shadows model" (see below) which has actually the name of my music album "Ancient Shadows"
I have quite a few garments from this lovely shop that I've used quite a lot in my performances. The Dark Angel is an international company that ships world wide exquisite fairytale clothing for women, men and children. It also keeps a regular "bargain or best offers" section which is reason alone to bookmark it. Beside the models listed they also have a couture line that you can ask about for special events like weddings or prom balls.
