Dark Fusion Boutique: dressing a tribal Goddess

Dark Fusion Boutique is a shop that features clothing and accessories designed by Lucretia*Renee of Serpentine- Theatrical Fire Fusion Bellydance located in Portland, Oregon. Her design style was initially inspired by her many years of performing in theatrical firedance and bellydance productions.  Really striking and eye-catch,  mosly in black, red, and cream colour, and several items matching each other so you can pick several combinations that will work perfectly for your bellydance  or stage outfit. Her clothing design style has become an elegant yet edgy fusion of fetish, tribal bellydance, goth, burlesque, circus, vaudeville, and steampunk. What makes her clothing unique is her form-fitting and sexy placement of seams, layered fabrics and textures, and her feminine twist on the fetish aesthetic inspired by the art of  dance and the Goddess. It has also a collection of lovely gloves and other accessories. You can visit their official site pointed above or go directly to Dark Fusion Boutique etsy store to look for in stock items.

I particularly loved these skirts, love the combination of different patterns and fabrics in a rag way… I may get one of this eventually…

or this other, even more morrigan raven’s mood

I wish I had the body for the tops!! ;-) but if you do, they look awesome

As we always do link articles if you like this style of clothing you might also want to refresh about our previous article about Plume designs

Gypsy witch design: Wickedly lovely top hats for victorian ladies

Gypsy witch designs is a lovely site that features an unique collection of top hats, from burlesque, victorian,  to gothic, Mad Hatter´s and even steampunk and pirate  models. It has also some formal and wedding models for more (or less) traditional customers..  It has alsom some additional accesories like gloves fitting for example with the laced up steampunk inspired top hats. The gothic models are full of spiderweb and tulle  with a very classy “widow” mood.  And there are also some striped model that you would point out of My fair Lady movie. All of them are really lovely and worth a check!

Mad Hatter model

Diamond model, very useful burlesque  for those wanting to go for a Moulin Rouge look

We made another article about Top Hats maybe more in the mood of  Leprechauns and Alice’s Mad Hatter, but equally unique and lovely. If you want to refresh your mind and options, read our sister article about top hats here:

Peter stone design: celtic, fairy, wicca pendant collection

Peter Stone
is one  of the largest collection faerie sterling silver jewelry. I particularly like their celtic, wicca and fairy-fantasy collection. They feature also a collection of reproductions of some well known fantasy artists into lovely pendants, earrings and other jewellry items.  The design above is called the “tree of life” one of my favorites. :) Below you can see some other examples:

Compass pendant: they have several pendants with compass  that I  highly recommend for PIRATE and STEAMPUMK costumes

Ravenswood: amazing leather pirate coats

Ravenswood leather is a wonderful site that features all sorts of costumes made of leather. Prices can look a bit high at the first sight, but we’re talking about really fine quality. They also feature a section to teach you how to take care of the pieces you buy in the store. But it doesn’t only feature the most amazing pirate (also ren and futuristic looking)  coats for men (and women too) I’ve seen so far, there you can find all sorts of accesories from belts, to gauntlets, bracers and pirate hats to become a real pirate. They feature the pieces in several colors from plain and classic black to several shades of brown, green and even white.

Above: some examples of accesories

Among my favourites I’d mention the jerkins and saberist jerkins for men. I think every guy should have one of these.

There’s also a girl version, that i’d hightlight in its “dress version” as in the picture below. Some of the  women bodices look very “Hercules” or “Xena” like.
